Jacinta Yelland is an Australian actor, theatre creator and model
based in Philadelphia, USA.
Jacinta is known for her untamed, intricate and visceral physical theatre and living installations that unearth the insecurities, hypocrisies and fears that we try so hard to hide. Her work embraces multi-disciplinary collaborations and draws inspiration from real-life stories.
In addition to creating her own work Jacinta has collaborated with companies across Australia and America including Arden Theatre Company (2020), Quintessence Theatre Group, RealTV, Elbow Room,
Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre, Playwriting Australia, Asian Arts Initiative & PAPA, Tribe of Fools and Hua Hua & Company.
She recently completed a Master of Fine Arts: Devised Performance at the University of the Arts led by award-winning Pig Iron Theatre Company.
This was made possible thanks to The Marten Bequest Traveling Scholarship and American Australian Association's Dame Joan Sutherland Fund.
Jacinta is also the recipient of NET/TEN's 2020 Remote Connection
Mini-Grant, Australia Council for the Arts Career Development Grant and
