WOW! What an absolute delight it was to perform with the talented performers of Tribe of Fools. I will miss this show so much - the audiences, the tricks, the danger lol, the beautiful team of creatives and actors. I've seriously never laughed so hard before, during and after a show. Thank you for having me Tribe of Fools! And thanks to all the audiences for your support!
Thanks Kathryn Osenlund for coming to see the show!
"Written by Caitlin Corkery and directed by Joseph Ahmed and Terry Brennan, this little play has heart. It shows what a sports team’s victory means, how It picks you up and brings inclusion, temporary pals, the sheer joy of victory, to WIN THE SUPERBOWL! ! You get pumped. If you call yourself any degree of EAGLES fan, you’ll relate. I hope some EAGLES team members might drop down little S. Hicks St. and pop in to see this. See how much they matter to the city. "In soaring higher than they had ever done, the Eagles became legends and have done their part to intensify Tribe of Fools’ theater community standing, as “Fly Eagles Fly” has proven a favorite among FringeArts attendees, according to votes cast via the festival’s feedback application." "Caitlin Corkery’s smart script easily mocks office life, sometimes with nothing more than a quick aside. The choreography by Zachary Chiero is great fun to watch — the Broad Street celebrations go from slow-mo to furious. At one high point in the choreography a hoagie stolen from the office fridge triggers a race around the office to take it, like a football being run across the field, to its owner. Tom Brady is also part of the fun, and I can’t ruin the surprise by telling you how. But believe me, it’s the sort of Tom Brady you can buy into if you’re an Eagles fan — longtime or newcomer." Read full review HERE! Anne Marie Scalies wrote a great review about the show and me on Philly Life & Culture! Here is a excerpt:
"A huge standout is performer Jacinta Yelland who plays Intern Alex Hupple. She has a robust education in performance which includes several awards for her work from Australia where she heralds to the USA. She is a small sprite with giant ability. Her character was the most in tune to Tribe of Fools description. The audience most enjoyed her antics and spirited acting chops, as well as the directors’ very clever ways of having her surprise you with entrances."
