I was awarded a Career Development Grant from Australia Council for the Arts to attend The Hemispheric Institute's 11th Encuentro in Mexico City! Thank you sooo sooo much Australia Council for supporting this project. I can't wait to report back to you about my experience! The Australia Council is the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body.

My Dare came to life today thanks to the help of Christine, Jacquie, Connor and the whole 2019 cohort. What a wild journey that was and what an even wilder show. Can't wait to see the photos. Here is a sneak peek.
And what better way to celebrate but with a CLOWN FACE cake!!! We finished our Dares and said goodbye to Raluca and Vanessa. Now it is time for a vacation. Thanks for such a magnificent, challenging year. Couldn't have done it without the support of my wonderful husband, family, teachers, friends and the best cohort a performer could ask for.
Dares are up next...I am Dared with THE HIJNX HIJACKER. Who knows what that means. I'll guess you'll find out at our showing TOMORROW EEEK! Here are some tremendous women who I have been collaborating with during Dares and who should be so proud of their work.
I did MAGIC yes MAGIC at the clown showing. WHAT A TRIP! Thanks to my fellow clowns, Quinn and Trey for patiently watching me practice my tricks every day. I always struggled with clown...now it is a joy...but still terrifying!
Alongside my good friend Kimie I played Piggie # 1...or was it #2...it depends on what Kimie thinks she played. Had a blast with the kids at Please Touch Museum making structures in Imagination Playground.
Had the absolute pleasure of pleasure of performing at Dixon Place alongside these legends in NYC! What a thrill!
On Saturday my cohort and I all performed a solo cabaret at L'Etage! It was the most fun I've ever had in my life. Thank your Dito for your guidance and Alex for your music.
Here are some photos from our Bouffon and Grotesque showing. It was a very successful night of mischief. We definitely made our audiences uncomfortable.
I will be performing at Please Touch Museum again this summer in the new 'Pinch and Penny' puppet show! Rehearsals begin right after I return from Mexico. It will be a creatively busy summer for me!
